It’s been a busy couple of months! Here are some of my new friends:
More to come!
For those of you who haven’t met her, this is Riley-dog. She’s my own personal pet and is absolutely amazing. I fall in love with her more and more every day. I love her personality, her sweet temperament, her spunk. We adopted Riley nearly 4 years ago and she’s definitely got a forever home here!
Hey guys,
Just wanted to push a little reminder to please book your pet sitting and boarding requests as early as possible. We’re getting pretty well booked up for Spring Break and already some summer vacation stuff as well as a few Holiday 2012 requests already. If you know your vacation dates, put in your request! It’s never too early! :-)
It is very helpful to me to know when my clients are going to need me the most! Thanks,
Rachel
An older, tired-looking dog wandered into my yard.
I could tell from his collar and well-fed belly that he had a home and was well taken care of.
He calmly came over to me, I gave him a few pats on his head. He then followed me into my house, slowly walked down the hall, curled up in the corner and fell asleep.
The next day he was back, greeted me in my yard, walked inside and resumed his spot in the hall and again slept for about an hour. This continued off and on for several weeks.
Curious I pinned a note to his collar: ‘I would like to find out who the owner of this wonderful sweet dog is and ask if you are aware that almost every afternoon your dog comes to my house for a nap.’
The next day he arrived for his nap, with a different note pinned to his collar:
‘He lives in a home with 6 children, 2 under the age of 3 – he’s trying to catch up on his sleep.
Can I come with him tomorrow?’
We have Milo & Bailey for weekly doggy daycare. Chevy came for Thanksgiving boarding for 2 nights and Butter & Sadie came for Thanksgiving boarding for 6 nights! I love making so many new friends!
Hey everybody,
As I look outside lately I am definitely noticing the changing of the seasons. This is always a fun time of year for me: I know I will miss the warm summer months, but I do so love the rain and the beautiful leaf changes of the fall and winter months. Plus I always look forward to the holidays every year. Great food and lots of quality time spent with family.
Please remember as you begin to make your holiday plans to keep your pets’ well-being in mind. Book early for your holiday pet care needs as we do tend to get busy during these upcoming months!
Remember to keep your pets safe: there are a lot of treats and goodies around the house this time of year that can be dangerous to your pets. Be sure to keep all chocolate well away from your dogs and watch children closely so they don’t ‘share’ their goodies! Also, many of you may not know that mistletoe is toxic to cats! Be very careful with this festive plant if you have cats in your home. You don’t want any emergency trips to the vet this year!
Thanks, take care and be safe,
Rachel
This adorable little Boston Terrier is Chini! She stayed with us over the weekend and was an absolute doll. So adorable and well behaved!!
As you can see, she and Riley got along really really well!!
